Jagjit Sagoo
Optometrist
Jagjit graduated as an optometrist from the Glasgow Caledonian University and opened his first practice in 1988. He is driven by a genuine passion for patient wellbeing. Having done his post graduate studies at City St George’s University and Moorfields Eye Hospital, he specialises in the intricate care required for diabetes and glaucoma, combining his extensive knowledge, experience and advanced expertise with a personalised approach. He ensures every patient feels understood and valued, building lasting relationships with his patients to receive the best possible attention for their eye health needs. In his free time he loves playing golf and taking his 2 golden retrievers on long walks.
Sue Gregory
Practice Manager
Sue is our full time Practice Manager. Her bubbly personality and vibrant energy always makes every patient feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. With her wealth of knowledge, comprehensive understanding of optical practices and exceptional leadership skills, she ensures our patients receive the best possible care and experience. She inspires and motivates our staff, fostering a collaborative and upbeat work environment. In her free time Sue likes to read and spend time with her family.
Kuldeep Sagoo
Senior Lab Technician / Clinical Support
Kuldeep is our Senior Lab Technician / Clinical Support. He rejoined our team in 2016 and having an in depth knowledge of a wide range of lenses works very closely with the Optometrist. He produces high quality spectacles, ensuring customer satisfaction through precision and attention to detail. This involves using computer-controlled equipment to shape and glaze lenses, performing minor repairs, and accurately interpreting prescriptions. He also provides clinical support by accurately conducting and administering specialised diagnostic tests, specifically Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Visual Fields (VF) examinations. In his free time Kuldeep likes to read and go out for nice meals.
Rani Janjua
Senior Optical Assistant
Rani is our senior optical assistant and has been with us since 2013. She has a strong knowledge of lenses, frames, and optical terminology, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. Her attention to detail and accuracy builds lasting and trustworthy customer relationships. She works very closely with the Practice Manager, managing very busy clinics, promoting products and special offers and services, ensuring sales targets are met. In her spare time Rani loves listening to music, good wine and going on holidays.
Kawal Sohal
Optical Assistant
Kawal joined us in 2017 as an Optical Assistant when she started studying Pharmacy at Kingston University. Having qualified a few years ago she is still very much part of our team. Her calm, warm and welcoming nature makes customers feel valued and cared for. She has excellent communication skills and works very well under pressure, promoting products and special offers, ensuring sales targets are met. Kawal also provides clinical support to the Optometrist by conducting diagnostic tests, such as OCT and visual fields. In her free time she likes to listen to podcasts and read novels.
